Participants will be introduced to the key parts of the Unity game development system and guided through the creation of a basic game.
Important Note: we will be using the book “Build your own first-person shooter in Unity” which features some mildly gory, cartoonish zombies as a reference. You can review the content (free PDF) at https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/build-your-own-first-person-shooter-in-unity/.

This year we’re proud to be a Maker Camp by Make Community Partner! We will be including select content from Make:’s Maker Camp resource library to enrich our program to inspire further exploration!

For COVID safety windows will be open, and a minimum of tools will be shared. All shared items will be wiped down between people using them. As well, we will be following BC restrictions, including the requirement of all visitors 12+ to wear face masks.
