After School – STREAM Girl’s Digital Crafting

A regular session inspired by STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art & Design, and Math) which offers a space for girls, gender diverse people, and LGBQTQ+ to participate and learn about these topics. In this crafts-focused camp, kids will explore digital tools as well as traditional ones such as printing, paper crafts, and sticker making.

This will be an opportunity for kids to connect art with technology, and they’ll have plenty of cool projects to take home!

Projects included:

  • Digital Design using Open Source software Krita and Inkscape
  • Sublimation Printing – Custom mug, pencil bag and/or mouse pad
  • Custom kiss-cut and die-cut stickers
  • Layered paper art
  • Laser cutting and engraving keychain
  • possible crafts if time allows cyanotype printing, paper lamp
