We’re moving the Blender meetup to THURSDAY evenings (from Wednesdays)- same time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm. This is a temporary change. We will be returning to the regular Wednesday evenings late June/early July.

We succeeded in getting a Raspberry Pi to interface with an ICS43434 MEMS microphone! Screen shot is of an example python script that is capturing and plotting live sound data. In our SciTech Friday’s kids group, we’ve been looking at measurements, and touching on decimals and exponents. Found this excellent ear-worm: It’s spectacular, in that “so eye-rolly, but it’s awesome!” sort if way. And best of all it works: even adults I’ve played it to can’t help singing along and discovering a prefix or two.
